This was my 2nd stay, they offered double room with old-world rustic charm. The location was ideal there, in restaurant for meals. Further, it was so close to railway station and attractions, the pub in a cottage, 

Its location in Newbury was perfect, so close to high clere castle and national trust properties, a very light conservatory at the back and fantastic views over fields and land part of the estate which is massively underplayed as the 

Lovely old and great quality hotel, our stay was lovely.

Perfect and excellent location in need of refurbishment was a plus. It was also near the Castle and fantastic views over fields and land part of the estate which is massively underplayed as the view was amazing.  

Well-equipped unit with free wi-fi access. Exceptionally nice location next to the pub for dinner and the southern outskirts, outstanding food.

I loved that they had an English breakfast. The staff members were all helpful and flexible. The location was perfect and quiet, near a valley and a park.

Wonderful old small hotel, pleasant views over the garden. Marvellous and lovely location, to Highclere Castle as well as other tourist sites that we wanted to visit.

Very cold bathroom.

Came here for 5 nights with my dogs, everything was high quality. All members of the staff were attentive. The location was comfortable, close to the dual carriageway, in the lovely peaceful area. The English bar 

The location of the hotel was excellent, very close to the wonderful Stanley Spencer chapel-a two minute walk away. Moreover, it's so close to the garden, several areas, and the southern outskirts.

The standard twin room we stayed in was huge with comfy bed. The location was unbeatable and magnificent and the services were good.

English breakfast with a wide array of good meals to choose from. Extremely helpful staff throughout our stay.
